Take a step back in time at one of Charlotte's favorite restaurants, Pike's Old Fashioned Soda Shop. Located in Charlotte's hip South End neighborhood, Pike's is known for great Southern food, tasty milkshakes and its classic old soda shop look and feel.
When you walk in, take a seat at one of the many booths or just stroll up to the marble counter and order a banana split. This restaurant has even been featured in the movie "Shallow Hal."
Pike's famous honey pecan fried chicken is just one of their classic Southern diner dishes. Try it with a side of broccoli casserole, and make sure you save room for dessert as Pike's has a vast assortment of house-made cupcakes, cakes and pies.
Aside from their Southern fare on the lunch and dinner menus, guests can enjoy a hot brunch buffet every Sunday for just under $14.
To experience some tasty homestyle cooking in the historic Queen City, Pike's is the place to go. It's located at 1930 Camden Road and is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.
