From Carolinas music artists to performers from all corners of the globe, an amazing array of songwriters and bands have graced the stage at the Evening Muse. From acoustic music to full electric bands; alternative, Americana, blues, country, folk, hip-hop, jazz, pop, reggae, rock, r&b, there's something for everyone at "The Muse."
This cozy venue is located in the hip NoDa Arts District just two miles north of Uptown and about 10 minutes from campus. All concerts and events are open to all ages unless specified on the events calendar. There are regular open mic nights as well.
This is not a place to grab a beer and talk over the guy with the guitar on stage. This is a real "listening room" where folks go to appreciate the best in live music performed by amazing songwriters. There's great original artwork along its brick walls, the bar offers a good selection of beers and wines and the cover charges are usually under $15. This venue does not allow smoking, but it is permitted outside.
The Muse is open Wednesdays through Saturdays and offers free parking on the street.
