When Dr. Pamela Davies became president of Queens in 2002 she quickly realized that Queens' enrollment could not physically grow on a 30-acre main campus in Myers Park. So she began developing a vision for a "Queens Corridor" that has since become tangible, with a new and expanding Queens presence at strategic locations stretching from Uptown Charlotte to the hospital district, and south to Tyvola Road.
