Queens University of Charlotte is pleased to offer affordable summer housing to college students with summer internships in the Charlotte area.

Queens offers two residence halls with flexibility on pricing. Residences may choose a room based on availability. All rates include utilities and amenities. Parking is a separate rate.

Application Process:

We take reservations on a first come first serve bases. We will take applications until all of our rooms have been reserved. The application fee is $25.00 and must be paid before the application will be processed. Please click on the link for the application and information on the application fee payment process.

Payment Process:

Our office offers two payment options. Guests may choose to pay the entire stays balance when they arrive or pay in two installments. If you choose to pay in two installments, the May and June balance is due upon arrival and the balance for July and August is due July 1. Payments can be made by check or online using a debit for credit card can make payment.

Parking:

Parking is a $100.00 flat fee and will need to be paid for at check in by credit card or electronic check. The parking fee is a flat rate and will not be pro-rated.

Amenities:

Both of our residence halls are with-in close proximity to the downtown area. We offer convenient parking, laundry rooms, 24-hour security, and free w-fi.  For the residences living in the South Hall, $10.00 a week will be added to your ID to be used at our on campus coffee house or dining hall. 

Room Types:

North Residence Hall

North Residence Hall is centrally located in the heart of Myers Park, one of the most historic and beautiful communities in Charlotte. This residence hall is just 2.5 miles from downtown (about a 5 minute drive) and .5 miles from the main campus. It is in close proximity to a city bus stop and a Harris Teeter Grocer is located directly across the street.

North Residence Hall offers two types of housing; private apartment or a 2 bedroom shared apartment. Both options include a kitchen and living room. The kitchen has a stove, microwave, and refrigerator.  The living room has a sofa, armchairs and dining room table. 

• FULL - A Private apartment includes one bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and living room. Private apartments rent for $300.00 per week and require a minimum of 8 weeks stay.
• OPEN - Shared apartments includes 2 bedrooms, a shared bathroom, kitchen, and living room. Shared apartments rent for $250 per week, per occupant. 

South Residence Hall

South Residence Hall has two types of suites. For summer interns we offer two bedroom or four bedroom suites. Each residence will be housed in their own bedroom, sharing a bath and living space. Each floor has a conveniently located kitchen, study rooms, and common area. For each week that you stay in South Hall $10.00 will be added to your ID card to be used in the campus coffee house or dining hall.

• FULL - Two bedroom suite rents for $160 per week, per occupant.
• FULL - Four bedroom suite rents for $140 per week, per occupant.
