Welcome Back students, faculty and staff
This academic year promises to be one of the most exciting ever at Queens. From more than $80 million in campus improvements underway to welcoming our largest ever first-year class, we have a lot to look forward to.
Construction - The new Rogers Science and Health Building is underway and foundation work will begin soon for the new Levine Center for Wellness and Recreation. Also coming next year is a new residence hall and parking deck that will alleviate congestion on and around campus. Our Campus Blueprint offers details about new facilities on campus.
Special events - Queens will host Former Sec. of State Condoleezza Rice on October 25 along with many more special events and programs to be listed in our Cultural Calendar. Most events are free for students.
Fun - From the Boar's Head Banquet and Yule Log Ceremony to the Spring Carnival, some Queens traditions date back several generations of students. There's always something fun going on.
Food - The dining hall will have more vegetarian options than ever, and the Coffee House is adding Frappuccinos and the Lions Den offers beer for those 21 and older.
