Schedule of Events
All seniors who have completed academic requirements for their degree program are expected to participate in the Commencement ceremony. Any graduate who is not able to attend his or her Commencement ceremony must notify the appropriate Dean's Office in writing by April 15.

All Hayworth undergraduates and all master's degree candidates are invited to a reception to celebrate their accomplishments.
Ceremonial Processional Line-up

*There are no assigned seats, and there should be room for all guests who wish to attend the outdoor ceremony. The seating area will open at 7:30 a.m.
Diplomas may be picked up in the Registrar's Office (Jernigan Hall) for one hour following the ceremony. Please bring a picture ID.
In Case of Rain
The ceremony will be held outdoors, rain or shine, unless there is severe inclement weather. If weather conditions do not permit an outdoor ceremony, graduation exercises will be held in the Levine Center for Wellness and Recreation. A limited number of rain tickets will be given to each graduate at rehearsal. Overflow seating with a closed circuit monitor will also be available for those who do not have rain tickets.
Parking is available in all campus lots, but is limited. Remote lots in close proximity to campus will be available, and we encourage guests to utilize the shuttles provided to/from these lots. More information on parking options will be shared during the spring semester.
Guests with Special Needs
Graduates who need accommodations for ceremony participation should contact Karen Franklin, Director of Student Disability Services, at 704-337-2508 or email@example.com before April 24.
A drop-off point for guests with mobility impairments will be located in the Evans Clock Tower lot off of Radcliffe Avenue. Handicapped spaces are available in all other campus parking lots.
An interpreter will be available at all ceremonies, and seats will be reserved in close proximity for guests who are hearing impaired.
