Social Media - Digitizing Your Network: A Strategic Approach to Social Media Marketing

The social media revolution is dramatically changing the way businesses communicate with their clients. Just knowing how to login to Facebook or Twitter is not enough. You need a strategy. During this series of interactive social media workshops, you will be given the tools to create a strategic social media plan specific to your needs and interests.

● Each workshop costs $80/each, or register for all three for a discounted $200.

1st Workshop:  Identifying Your Social Media Strategy
During this initial session, you will receive an overview of the social media revolution and why you/your business should get involved from a marketing standpoint. We will also briefly summarize the various social platforms - such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Foursquare and blogs - and share best practices for when and how to use them to strengthen your digital presence.  Most importantly, this session will delve into tactics useful for identifying your social media strategy and goals, as well as help you define what success looks like to you and your organization. Part of this will include various case studies that demonstrate successful social media campaigns.

2nd Workshop:  Orienting Your Brand for Social Communication: Strategies to Target Your Audience
Through hands-on exercises, learn how to strategically target your audience by identifying key topics important to you and your stakeholders. Participants will leave knowing how to craft social media content and utilize tools that connects you to your audience and creates ongoing interaction.

3rd Workshop:  Monitoring and Measuring Success
Now that you've outlined your goals and discussed the steps you'll take to reach them, measure how well your social media strategy is working through analytics. In this workshop, you'll learn about free and low-cost tools that will allow you to track your momentum in the social media-sphere.

You will be contacted with a confirmation and parking information after you register for a course online.

Cancellation and Refund Policy: There is a $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations that are received at least 10 business days prior to the first day of class will receive a refund, minus the $50 cancellation fee. No refunds or make-up classes will be given after that time. If you do not officially withdraw from or attend a course, you are still responsible for the payment. If the course is canceled for any reason, you will be notified and your entire tuition fee will be refunded.
