Nursing – Annual Fall Nursing Summit

Legal Aspects of Nursing Documentation

Join us for our 3rd Annual Fall Nursing Summit, a one-day continuing education seminar for nurses seeking to fulfill their annual nursing contact hours.  The 2012 Summit will provide in-depth discussion of the most common sources of litigation for nurses. Learn how a court defines terms such as timely, chain of command, assessment/monitoring, and "no change in condition." Gain better insight into documentation strategies and techniques to help ensure that your documentation is legally defensible. There is also a mock trial that allows you to experience what it would be like to have to defend your documentation.

This seminar is an absolute must for all nurses documenting on a medical record. You are guaranteed to leave with a new perspective for the old, saying, "If you didn't document it, you didn't do it."
