Nurse Aide I Refresher

The three-day Nurse Aide I Refresher course is designed primarily for certified nursing assistants (CNAs) that have an expired NC Nurse Aide I (NAI) certification, or individuals with an out of state NAI certification that need to take the NC state competency exam. North Carolina EMTs and Certified Medical Assistants are also eligible. This course reviews key information needed for preparing students to complete both the written and the skills portion of the state competency exam. Students should provide evidence of previous NAI certification, current out of state NAI certification, EMT certification, or Medical Assistant certification on the first day of class.

Dates: April 22-24 (Registration ends April 15, 2013)

Time: 8:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Location: All classes are held at the 5th Street Campus of Queens University of Charlotte in the Presbyterian School of Nursing building (1901 E. 5th Street, Charlotte, NC 28204). Download a campus map with parking information.

Price: $199 (Payment is due in full at the time of registration.  Any registration not paid in full will be automatically cancelled within 48 hours)

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Cancellation Policy: There is a $50 cancellation fee for all Nursing and NAI Refresher programs, and a $100 cancellation fee for NAI Training programs. Cancellations that are received at least 10 business days prior to the first day of class will receive a refund, minus the $50 or $100 cancellation fee. Cancellations after that time will receive no refund.

The Center for Lifelong Learning at Queens University of Charlotte is an approved provider of nursing continuing education by the North Carolina Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
