Poetry Writing: Tools of the Craft, with Terri Wolfe

If you have the desire to write poetry and to do it well, this class is for you! While it is targeted at the beginner level, all levels are welcome. We will examine the poems of numerous successful poets, taking lessons learned and applying them to our own writing. Topics to be studied and discussed include:  images, simile & metaphor, the line, rhythm & rhyme, revision, and publishing. Stimulating exercises each week, along with supportive feedback of your work. Don't forget to bring your pen and writing pad.
