Internship program overview - Guidelines and Tips
COLLEGE CENTRAL NETWORK JOB POSTING SERVICE
Employers may post full-time, part-time and internship opportunities on our online service. Please visit www.collegecentral.com/queens to register as an employer and advertise your openings free of charge.
ON-CAMPUS INTERVIEWS
We strongly encourage employers to interview on campus. Employers may interview from October through December during the fall semester and January through April during the spring semester. We offer both a closed and open interview schedule depending on your preference.
INFORMATION TABLES
Employers may come to campus and set up an Information Table in the Trexler Student Center. This provides the opportunity to meet students and share information in an informal, non-competitive setting. Only one employer at a time will be set up in the Student Center, usually during midday between 10am and 2pm. We actively publicize employer visits throughout campus.
QUEENS CAMPUS CAREER FAIR
Queens University campus Internships & Career fair held in the fall of each semester in the Ovens Athletic Center (gym). Open to employers, students and alumni.
SENIOR JOB CAMPAIGN
Employers can serve as event sponsors and career contacts for Senior Career Groups led by selected student managers. Share job leads, sponsor our major kickoff event in September, network with students, or conduct a workshop or presentation on your organization or career related topic.
NETWORKING RECEPTION
Join us for our annual March networking reception that brings employers, students and alumni together in an elegant, yet friendly setting. Sponsorship opportunities available.
