The Blair College of Health is proud to be student-centered while focusing on the strengths and talents of our excellent faculty and staff. The Blair College of Health supports the Queens University of Charlotte mission of offering "educational experiences that nurture intellectual curiosity, promote global understanding, encourage ethical living, and prepare individuals for purposeful and fulfilling lives."
The Blair College of Health houses the Presbyterian School of Nursing, Human Service Studies Department, and Kinesiology Department. The nursing faculty are highly experienced in their disciplines and have established a tradition of providing students with quality educational experiences. The Human Service Studies Department offers a major and minor which emphasizes meeting human needs focusing on prevention, problem remediation, and commitment to improving the overall quality of life of service populations. The Kinesiology Department offers four majors: Exercise and Sport Sciences, Sport Management, Allied Health, and Interdisciplinary Health Services, as well as four minors (Sport Studies, Public Health, Sport Management, and Exercise and Sport Sciences). The Kinesiology Department also offers Physical Education courses to empower students to sustain lifelong physical activity and knowledge for a healthy lifestyle.
