I teach in both graduate and undergraduate nursing classes. I have published many articles and three books including "100 Questions and Answers About Communicating with Your Healthcare Provider." My research focuses on quality of life and symptoms.
I have been involved in clinical care (staff, CNS, NP), education (faculty), administration, and research. I also have owned a consulting business and worked in the pharmaceutical industry to launch two pain medications. I have worked in hospitals, nursing homes, home care and hospice.
