Tracy Petleski is currently a full time Doctor of Nursing student at Gardner-Webb University. She plans to graduate with a DNP- Doctor of Nursing Practice degree with a concentration in Nursing education in May 2013. Capstone Project: "Compassion Fatigue Among Emergency Department Nurses."
Tracy Petleski earned a Master's in Nursing Education with a concentration on Curriculum and Evaluation from Gardner-Webb University in 2003. Thesis: "Women and Heart Disease: AcuteMyocardial Infarction."
Tracy Petleski is currently teaching full time in the Presbyterian School of Nursing at Queens University of Charlotte. She is co- instructor of Nursing 291Adult Nursing II in the ASN program and is clinical faculty in the BSN and ABSN programs.
Tracy Petleski has 26 years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse and is employed as an Emergency Department nurse. She currently maintains professional certifications of: ACLS, PALS, ENPC, TNCC and CPI. Tracy serves as a State Medical Assistance Team (SMAT II -MTAC)member.
