April Sipprell , Ph.D

April K. Sipprell has been a faculty member at Queens since 2010.

She is a North Carolina native who graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1990, and earned a Ph.D. from the University of South Carolina at Columbia. She currently teaches Medical Microbiology and Human Anatomy & Physiology I and II.

She taught at the University of South Carolina, and also at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

She is involved in many volunteer activities at her children’s schools and sports teams. She enjoys activities with her two daughters, and spends her free time reading and working in her yard.
