Degrees & Programs
Although some of our students become teachers and attend graduate school, the vast majority of our graduates pursue careers in a wide range of professions, including human resources, financial planning, public service, the law, non-profit advocacy and international politics. This is because our students develop the habits of mind and the practical skills necessary to succeed in any professional setting. Survey after survey reveals that prospective employers seek to hire graduates who can adapt to new and unfamiliar situations, communicate clearly and effectively and collaborate with a diversity of people to solve problems. A Bachelor of Arts degree in history prepares our graduates to meet these demands.
