The theatre major at Queens provides opportunities for you to develop your creative abilities. Queens has a vibrant acting community in which you can audition for several acting opportunities per year. You can also choose to work behind the scenes in technical theatre, costuming and makeup or stagecraft. At Queens, all of our majors are grounded in the liberal arts. For you, this means in addition to your theatre education and experience, you will gain critical-thinking, problem-solving and communication skills that are increasingly sought by employers in all fields.
