Elaine Miller teaches music theory and composition, applied piano, and sight singing and eartraining. In addition, she serves as accompanist for the Queens Chorale and for individual student performances. Recent performances have included collaborations on junior and senior voice recitals, and the annual Broadway revue.
She is a member of Music Teachers National Association, and received the Permanent Professional Certificate in Piano in 2000. She has been a member of the Queens music faculty for 27 years, and for much of that time was director of the Queens Music Academy, a non-credit division of the music department.
