Raymond Sheedy

Raymond L. Sheedy teaches architecturally-related courses for the graduate studies in the Interior Design Department at Queens. He emphasizes the process of design and the theory of craft in his teaching.

 
Mr. Sheedy earned his Master of Architecture degree and Bachelor of Science in Design from Clemson University.  He studied urban patterns in Europe while attending the Charles E. Daniel Center for Building Research and Urban Studies in Genoa, Italy.  He has over twenty years experience in the practice of architecture including ten years as owner of Sheedy Watts Design.  As the lead designer for over one-hundred and twenty buildings, six projects in his portfolio received national awards and four were recognized with local awards.

Mr. Sheedy is an associate member of The American Institute of Architects, The Congress of Residential Architecture and on the board of the Program Advisory Committee for The Art Institute of Charlotte.
