Jennifer Hull is the Director of Community Programs in the James L. Knight School of Communication. Within this role, she oversees the outreach programs, the communication internships, and Best Minds Speakers Series.
Prior to joining Queens University, Jennifer worked as a Senior Media Specialist at Lowe’s Home Improvement. Within the marketing department, she partnered with the advertising agencies to deliver the local advertising to over 20 markets. She also has experience as a media buyer at Wray Ward in Charlotte.
For her Capstone thesis, Jennifer researched the uncertainty parents felt and dealt with when their child was born prematurely and had extended stays in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. She is currently working with Dr. Zachary White for publication.
Jennifer has co-authored a book, community 2.0, in which she wrote a chapter called "Finding Community through Blogging." The chapter explains how an online community is formed through the design process of a blog.
