Karen Shearer Dunn

Karen Shearer Dunn's professional experience includes serving as a Senior Account Executive at Leo Burnett & Co. in Chicago on the McDonalds account, an Instructional Designer and Senior Trainer for Arthur Anderson & Co., and more recently consulting and training for clients such as IBM, Wachovia, Coca Cola, Motorola, the U.S. Postal Service, the State of North Carolina and Philip Morris. She is a lead trainer for the Women's Leadership Institute.
She provides workshops for organizations across the nation and internationally on gender relationships in organizational settings, generational differences in the workplace and cross-cultural nonverbal communication and body language. She is a contributing author of the book "Sex, Gender and Jobs."
At Queens, she primarily teaches in the Relational Communication program of study including such classes as Interpersonal Communication, Gender and Communication, Communicating Across Generations, and Nonverbal Communication.
