Kathleen Connolly , PhD, LPCS

 In 2001, Dr. Connolly founded Acumeans, Inc., a private counseling and consulting practice that provides individual and couples counseling, clinical supervision, career development, coaching, and business consulting services. In addition to her work as a professional counselor, Dr. Connolly’s university teaching experience dates back to 2000 when she began teaching Ethics & Professional Issues in Counseling at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte; currently she teaches practicum and internship classes there, providing clinical supervision and instruction to master’s and doctoral students. In 2009, she was invited to be a part of the pro-bono coaching pool at Queens University in Charlotte and later co-taught the Intro to Coaching course with Dr. John Bennett. In 2012, Dr. Connolly taught Applied Assessment & Measurements in the masters of executive coaching program in the McColl School at Queens. In addition to her practice and teaching, Dr. Connolly consults with recruiters and business professionals providing coaching and talent assessment. She is involved in several professional associations and conducts ethics workshops annually for mental health professionals.
