Don Pomeroy is the adjunct professor of accounting in the McColl School of Business EMBA program. Don has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from St. John Fisher College, and is a proud member of the McColl School of Business EMBA Class of 2010. While completing his EMBA, Don was part of the winning NextGen Medical Solutions team in the David C. Stephens Spirit of Entrepreneurship competition. Don is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Global Management Accountant, and has completed several leadership development programs including Learning as Leadership – Personal Mastery, the EnPro Leadership Challenge, and the EnPro Leadership Development Program. He is a member of MAPI, FEI, AICPA, and NYSSCPA.
Don is employed at Shurtape Technologies LLC as Chief Financial Officer. Don has over 20 years of public company and public accounting experience. He has worked in a variety of positions in operations and corporate environments, and has years of experience in: accounting/finance, international operations and finance, SEC reporting, management reporting, cost accounting, M&A/IPOs/spin-offs, tax, pricing excellence, special projects, lean manufacturing, recruiting and talent development, strategic planning, major capital projects, restructuring, bankruptcy, and internal controls/SOX. Don has traveled extensively in North America and around the world in developed and developing countries. Prior to joining EnPro, Don was a Business Assurance Manager at Coopers & Lybrand LLP (now PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP).
