Undergraduate Certificate in Business Foundations*Available Evenings
The McColl School of Business offers a Certificate in Business Foundations through Hayworth College. The certificate is designed for individuals seeking to develop knowledge and skills in the foundation areas of business: accounting, marketing, management, finance, and economics.
Admission to the Certificate Program
Individuals who are interested in obtaining a Certificate in Business Foundations should apply to the Hayworth College Admissions Office as a non-degree undergraduate student.
To be considered for admission as a non-degree student in the business certificate program, an applicant must submit:
- A completed application form, including the application fee.
- Official transcript(s) of all post-secondary academic course work.
Requirements for a certificate in Business Foundations:
This is a 24 credit hour certificate program requiring 15 hours of courses in the business disciplines and 9 hours in related courses. To obtain the certificate, a student must complete the courses with a grade point average of 2.5 with no grade below C-. Up to 6 hours on non-business courses may be accepted as transfer credit. All BUSN courses must be taken at Queens University of Charlotte.
