An educational blend of history and environment, this South American country is named for the fact that it straddles the equator.

Ecuador has an unusually well preserved historic colonial center in its capital, Incan ruins, rich natural spots such as rainforests, and even a cloud forest.

Programs

Language- and Cultural-Immersion Program - A four-week stay in Ecuador's highlands, based in the city of Cuenca. Traditional undergraduate students take Spanish classes and live and eat in homes whose host families speak only Spanish.  Students should have a minimum of five semesters of Spanish to participate.

Internships - Affordable, exciting and challenging internships allow students to work abroad and even live with local families. Our partner, World Endeavors, specializes in culturally immersive programs.  Their goal is to make a direct and positive impact on both the interns and their host communities by providing the opportunity for life-changing experiences.
