If your student did not include his/her Social Security Number on their application to Queens, this may slow down the financial aid awarding process (with the exception of international students).
Please contact your students' Admissions Counselor with questions.
While applying for financial aid is not required, it is encouraged! The application is free, so you have nothing to lose.
After January 1st, you can fill out your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.gov. The Queens code is 002957.
If you are admitted and have completed your FAFSA prior to March 1st, 2013, you can expect a financial aid package to arrive in late March or early April. Contact your Student Financial Services Counselor with any questions regarding your financial aid package.
If you submit your FAFSA to Queens after March 1st, you may still qualify for financial aid, but may receive your financial aid package later than late March or early April.
Visit Scholarships & Financial Aid for more information on how to fill out your FAFSA and apply for financial aid.
If you have questions about any Queens Scholarships that are not need-based, contact your Admissions Counselor.
