Things to do to prepare for Spring Orientation:
Parents of Incoming Fall Students

The parent orientation sessions will be concurrent with the student sessions and will feature important information for parents about student financial services, student safety, health and wellness, and much more.
Parent Orientation Schedule (Roar Sessions 1 and 2 only)
Parents attending ROAR Session 3 and ROAR Session 4 will participate along with their student and do not have a separate program.
Parents must register to attend the Summer Parent Orientation. Registration for the Summer Orientation is comprehensive; therefore students and parents will be registered together under one registration. To register for the parent orientation sessions, visit the freshmen orientation information. There is no additional cost to attend the parent orientation.
Parents of transfer students are encouraged to attend the New Student Welcome and Sed Ministrare ceremonies on Saturday, August 17, 2013.
During the June Orientation programs and fall move in, on campus housing will be provided for students. Students will be paired with other incoming students to get the true experience of sharing space and getting to know their new peers. Parents are encouraged to stay at one of our participating hotel sponsors here in Charlotte. These hotels have set up special pricing for Queens' guests. All hotels listed are within 5 miles of campus.
