Even though they may be familiar with college life, things are always a little different at a new school.
Incoming Spring Transfer Students
Incoming transfers will participate in a half-day, New Student Orientation program on Sunday, January 5 from 3:30 p.m. - 6 p.m. Following the program, dinner will be provided for all new students. Residential students may move in from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. on Sunday, January 5.

- Complete and bring your Student Medical Form
- Review the Spring Orientation Schedule
Incoming Fall Transfer Students
Incoming transfer students will arrive on campus on Friday, August 22. Residential students will move in between 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. All transfer students will participate in the New Student Welcome ceremony and the Sed Ministrare ceremony in the afternoon and evening of Friday, August 22. A detailed schedule of events will be provided at a later date.
Transfer students are encouraged to participate in the Summer Orientation session on Monday, July 28. This special one day session is specifically designed for transfer students. During this session, transfer students will find out about campus resources and meet upperclassmen who can help answer any questions you may have. Transfer students unable to attend the July ROAR session, will be able to participate in a half-day orientation on Saturday, August 23. Transfer students will be contacted by an academic advisor to register for fall classes before August 22.
ROAR 2014 Registration will open in February 2014
*Special Note - Transfer students who transfer in less than 24 credit hours and graduated high school in fall 2013 or after are encouraged to attend ROAR Sessions 1 or 2.
