High School Counselors & Advisors
This section is specifically designed to serve high school counselors & advisors - as you serve your students. As you explore the site, you will discover the uniqueness of Queens. We trust this Web site will enable you to assess which of your students would be a good fit for Queens and really make a difference in the classroom, on our campus, in our community here in Charlotte and in this world as they travel the globe.
At Queens, we use a rolling admission decision and notification process. However, some of our scholarships require receipt of an admission application, usually by mid-December (deadlines vary). In addition to a completed application, students must also have official transcripts sent to the University.
Our admission philosophy is pretty straight forward - we look at the entire student because we educate the entire student. There are no stated cut-offs for GPA or test scores. We strongly consider extracurricular activities with a focus on leadership, volunteerism / service, and commitment.
Students who do not have an academic and/or extracurricular record consistent with Queens University of Charlotte students may be required to submit additional information including (but not limited to): an essay, letter(s) of recommendation, resume, samples of scholarly work and an interview.
Applications are available online. Paper applications ($40 fee) are available upon request.
*Applications require official transcripts and ACT and/or SAT scores be sent to Queens. For decision purposes, the admissions office will accept transcripts faxed to our office from guidance counselors while we await the official transcript.
