Alumni Association Awards
The presentation of Alumni Association Awards is a special highlight of Queens' annual Reunion Weekend. The awards recognize alumni and friends for outstanding professional achievements and exceptional service to Queens and their communities.
The Outstanding Alumna/us Award is given to an alumna or alumnus who has notably achieved much and gained prominence in his or her professional life. Service to the Alumni Association and/or Queens is not criteria for this award. See a list of past recipients and nominate someone here.
The Alumna/us Service Award is presented to an alumna or alumnus who best embodies Queens' motto, "Not to be served, but to serve." The Honorary Alumna/us Award is awarded to a recipient who is not an alumna or alumnus in recognition of devoted service and in appreciation of his or her unique relationship with the Queens community. The Sed Ministrare Award was initiated in 2007, Queens' Sesquicentennial Year, to honor an alumna or alumnus who has provided outstanding service to his or her community. See a list of past recipients and nominate someone here. (Link to Sed Ministrare subtab)
The G.O.L.D. Award is presented to a graduate of the past decade who has distinguished themselves in their career, community, or service to the university. To nominate an alumna or alumnus for an award, please fill out and submit the nomination form or contact the Office of Alumni Relations at email@example.com or 704 337-2536. Nominations for the April 2015 awards are due by October 31, 2014.
