During open windows of time on the agenda, we invite you to grab a cappuccino at the campus Coffee House, a soda or beer at the Lion's Den or stock up on your Queens' gear by visiting the Campus Bookstore.

For those who do not call Charlotte home, you might enjoy visiting the Mint Museum Uptown, the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art or SouthPark Mall.

View the King George VI Bible | 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Everett Library

Did you know that in 1950, King George VI personally sent a leather bible to Queens? Long-time Queens librarian Rena Harrell was a steadfast Anglophile and organized a writing campaign, asking King George to send a Bible to celebrate the construction of the Belk Chapel. It currently lives in the private special collections room. Stop by the help desk in Everett Library during this hour and one of our librarians will take you to the room and allow you to view this special treasure!

Reunion Kick-Off / President's Reception | 6:00 - 7:00 PM

Join Dr. Pamela Davies for wine and light hors d'oeuvres to kick off the reunion weekend. This is a great opportunity to greet and mingle with fellow alumni arriving to town for the celebration. Join us directly afterwards for Burwell and Blue Jeans in front of Burwell.

$25 per person, $5 for children
Burwell Lawn
Bring your families and meet your classmates on Burwell lawn for music, dinner and a lot of catching up.  Casual attire is welcomed, be it blue jeans or sundresses!  We encourage you to come comfortably to the Kick-Off Reception and meander afterward directly to Burwell Lawn.

Campus Update and Class Celebration Lunch |12:30 PM
$25 per person (Classes will be seated together and each special reunion class recognized)
Young Dining Room, Morrison Hall

This is a not-to-miss event! Sit with your classmates and catch up over lunch (wine will be served). Enjoy a university update from Dr. Pamela Davies and the presentation of the Outstanding Alumna/us, Alumna/us Service, Young Alumna/us, Honorary Alumna/us, Young Alumna/us and Sed Ministrare Awards. **If you are unable to attend the luncheon, box lunches will be available for pick up outside Trexler Student Center. Lunches must be pre-ordered and are $10 each.

Open Houses | 2:00 - 3:30 PM
Greek Village, Levine Center, Rogers Hall
Visit the newly updated and brand new buildings on campus. The Levine Center is located along Wellesley, Rogers Hall on the corner of Selwyn and Radcliffe and the Greek Village on the garden level of Wireman Hall. 

Continued Learning Options | 2:30 - 3:30 PM
The learning doesn't end once you've walked across the stage! Take an hour out of your afternoon to sit in on a brief session on a topic of interest. You will be alerted of the class location at Reunion check-in. Choose from Dickinson & Her Descendants, a lecture on the life and family of poet Emily Dickinson, with Dr. Emily Seelbinder or Better Living through Simple Design, a lecture on interior design, with Professor Sabrina Frey.

Happy Hour (It's 5 o'clock somewhere!) | 3:30-4:30 PM
The Lion's Den
After continuing your learning, join current students and other alumni in the Lion's Den for a cold beverage. A limited number of local beers will be available for purchase.  We'll have the TVs turned to the Master's for our avid golf fans!

Class Parties | Times vary by class
Keep the party going at these special gatherings just for your class. Locations and times to be announced.

Chapel Service & Farewell Bagel Brunch | 10:00 - 11:45 AM
Belk Chapel & Discovery Courtyard
Join us for worship and to remember those classmates who have passed away.  Light refreshments will be available following the service in the courtyard between Belk Chapel and Rogers Hall. Join us for both or just drop by to say goodbyes and grab a quick bite at 11 a.m.

The Charlotte RaceFest Half-Marathon takes place the Saturday morning of Reunion weekend. Gather a team of classmates, register and wear your Queens gear to show off your Royals pride!
