Parents are a special and valued part of the Queens community. There are numerous ways you can engage with your student and with Queens throughout the academic year.
The Parents' Council leads the way in fostering strong communication between parents and Queens' administration. There are many opportunities to be involved as committee members who participate in activities on campus and beyond that enrich our students' college experience, support them with career opportunities and help promote Queens in your local area, while supporting the university financially among other functions. Contact Laura Beth Ellis, firstname.lastname@example.org or 704-337-2334 for more information.
Family Weekend is a wonderful opportunity to visit your student on campus and get to know their friends and other families. Come enjoy a fun-filled weekend of exploration, education and entertainment by attending a variety of programs and events - all while spending quality time with your student.
QNewsLetter for Parents keeps you informed about all that is happening on campus. This quarterly electronic newsletter is filled with news and updates of interest to parents of current students.
RexText is a bi-weekly newsletter for students, but is also a great way for parents to be in-the-know about on-campus happenings.
