College of Arts & Sciences

From our beginning, Queens has offered a liberal arts curriculum - a curriculum that has grown throughout the years to include 22 majors and a healthy variety of concentrations (more than 50).

In 1979, the traditional liberal arts undergraduate program was named the College of Arts & Sciences, and it became fully co-educational in 1987. The innovative Core Program was adopted in 1989, and in the same year the John Belk International Program was established. Today, the College of Arts & Sciences continues to expand and enhance the undergraduate program to keep the educational experience relevant to students' needs.

A gift to The Queens Fund for the College of Arts & Sciences will support the liberal arts through merit- and need- based scholarships for its students.
