Hayes Residence Hall
Hayes Residence HallHayes Residence Hall first opened in 1914 and honors Queens Alumna and trustee Mariam Cannon Hayes (Class of 1937). The Lily Long Lobby, located in Hayes Hall, honors Lily W. Long who served the University for a half century and was President from 1891-1899.
Hayes Hall is located on the Residence Hall Quadrangle, adjacent to the Blair House, Albright Hall, and the Clock Tower. This two-story residence hall houses 72 upper-class students in a suite style living arrangement with adjoining bathrooms. Two Resident Assistants are assigned to each floor, and one Residence Coordinator oversees the Hall and RA staff.
In the summer of 2009, Hayes Hall underwent renovations with each room receiving brand new furniture.
