The implementation of this program helps prevent larcenies and assists law enforcement with stolen property identification. Queens University of Charlotte can permanently engrave unique identification numbers onto high-end personal items (i.e. bikes, laptops, iPods, etc). A record of the items is kept in a database within the police department.
