Event Details

The Knight School of Communication's honor society, Lambda Pi Eta, presents a screening of the film "Miss Representation," written and directed by Jennifer Siebel Newsom. The film exposes how mainstream media contributes to the under-representation of women in positions of power and influence in America.

Following the screening, Knight School Visiting Professor Dr. Alexis Carreiro will lead a discussion. Students and community members are encouraged to come to the screening to see how media portrays women and how it influences women's (and men's) issues.
