While the classes of '39, '44, '49, '54, '59, '64, '69, '74, '79, '84, '89, '94, '99, '04 and '09 will celebrate special reunions this year, all alumni are invited to return to campus for this special weekend!

2014 Alumni Reunion Weekend

Registration Fees - fee for alumni only includes agenda items that do not note a fee, your registration packet and a Queens souvenir
Early Bird Registration Fee - $25.00 (Before April 1, 2014)
Regular Price - $35.00 (Beginning April 1)

During open windows of time on the agenda, we invite you to grab a cappuccino at the campus Coffee House, a soda or beer at the Lion's Den or stock up on your Queens' gear by visiting the Campus Bookstore. For those who do not call Charlotte home, you might enjoy visiting the Mint Museum Uptown, the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art or SouthPark Mall.

Reunion Kick-Off / President's Reception | 6:00 - 7:00 PM
McInnes Parlors, Burwell Hall

Join Dr. Pamela Davies for wine and light hors d'oeuvres to kick-off the reunion weekend. This is a great opportunity to greet and mingle with fellow alumni arriving to town for the celebration. Join us directly afterwards for Burwell and Blue Jeans in front of Burwell.   

Burwell & Blue Jeans | 7:00 PM
$25 per person, $5 for children Burwell Lawn
Bring your families and meet your classmates on Burwell lawn for music, dinner and a lot of catching up.  Casual attire is welcomed, be it blue jeans or sundresses!  We encourage you to come comfortably to the Kick-Off Reception and meander afterward directly to Burwell Lawn.   

50th Reunion Dinner | 7:30 PM Class of '64 and guests $30 per person 
Myers Park Country Club
Queens will honor the Class of '64 at a special dinner celebrating their milestone reunion.

Stop by to pick up your reunion packet (if you didn't do so the evening prior) and mingle with friends and classmates. Coffee, juice and breakfast breads will be available until 10:30 AM.

Queens will honor our alumni who are celebrating their 50th Reunion or more at this special breakfast.

Visit the Reunion website for more information, once available, on which of our esteemed faculty members will be leading this moderated panel discussion and the topic.  

Campus Update and Class Celebration Lunch |12:30 PM $25 per person (Classes will be seated together and each special reunion class recognized)
Young Dining Room, Morrison Hall

This is a not-to-miss event! Sit with your classmates and catch up over lunch (wine will be served). Enjoy a university update from Dr. Pamela Davies and the presentation of the Outstanding Alumna/us, Alumna/us Service, Honorary Alumna/us, Young Alumna/us and Sed Ministrare Awards.

**If you are unable to attend the luncheon, box lunches will be available for pick up in the CP Street Courtyard. Lunches must be pre-ordered and are $10 each.  

Open Houses | 2:00 - 4:30 PM
Greek Village, Levine Center, Rogers Hall
Visit the newly updated and brand new buildings on campus. The Levine Center is located along Wellesley, Rogers Hall on the corner of Selwyn and Radcliffe and the Greek Village on the garden level of Wireman Hall.    

Continued Learning Options | 2:30 - 3:30 PM
Locations and Classes TBD
The learning doesn't end once you've walked across the stage! Take an hour out of your afternoon to sit in on a brief session on a topic of interest. Topics will include Emily Dickinson, Being Financially Savvy, Interior Design and more!   

A casual and fun mid-afternoon activity is still being planned...check the website!

Chapel Service & Farewell Bagel Brunch | 10:00 - 11:45 AM
Belk Chapel & Discovery Courtyard
Join us for worship and to remember those classmates who have passed.  Light refreshments following the service in the courtyard between Belk Chapel and Rogers Hall. Join us for both or just drop by to say goodbyes and grab a quick bite at 11 a.m.
