Twitter is an information network. A social media platform where one can use 140 characters to share information - a link, a thought, a picture or an opinion. It may seem overwhelming as to why anyone would use Twitter, but this platform, used correctly, can be beneficial in pushing information to you.
Please join us for this free, one-hour workshop where we will teach you how-to set-up your own Twitter account, go over the Twitter vocabulary and how-to follow people and organizations that you deem important. By understanding Twitter's purpose, then you can be a part of the conversation too.
Jeff King, MA '13 , co-owner of Lorica Digital, will facilitate this beginner-level workshop. Mr. King has facilitated small and large workshops to the greater-Charlotte area and has taught small businesses how to use social media strategically as part of their marketing plan.
This class is free and open to the public.
Seating is limited, so please register.
You may also bring your own technology if you feel more comfortable using your own personal computer or tablet.
