Event Details

The Knight School of Communication created a one-hour seminar course around the Democratic National Convention called "Charlotte & the Convention". This course, opened to all students, will feature faculty members and community members who will present topics in areas such as, Charlotte History, The Communicative Power of Events, Protesting Politics, and more. On our first day, we will open up our last session to the public.

This session titled, "Carolina Stories Project" will feature the producers of the digital storytelling project. Knight School professor, Dr. Alexis Carreiro, will lead the panel from Carolina Stories. Dr. Carreiro will discuss with the panel how they came up with the idea, what purpose the project serves and how did they decide which stories to tell. This hour and half session will provide a way for community members to engage in a topic about the convention.

Please join the Knight School in what is sure to be a lively discussion.
