Event Details

The Arts at Queens invites you to "Waves of Sound." This nautical-themed concert features the "Water Music Suite" by G.F. Handel, "Hands Across the Sea" by John Philip Sousa, "Victory at Sea" by Richard Rodgers (arr. by Robert Russell Bennett) and "Mannin Veen" by Haydn Wood. This concert also highlights the winner of our biannual high school concerto competition, who will perform a selection as a featured soloist with the band. Charlotte Concert Band is a community band sponsored by Queens.
