Dr. Reed Perkins, Department of Environmental Science, recently presented the talk "Sustainability 101" to a group of rising professionals with Leadership Charlotte.  The talk explored the challenges of defining and pursuing "urban sustainability," then described the current status of air, water, and land-use in Mecklenburg County and the surrounding region.
