El Regalo de San Valentin, an original monologue by Venezuelan actress/playwright Myriam Amanda Henríquez Arocha, is a humorous examination of aging and relationships. Come enjoy a timely performance for a popular holiday. Performed in Spanish.

Peruvian actress Mónica Román found her passion for acting at an early age. In Lima, she has worked with Argentine actor/director Alejandro Anderson in Pirandello's play Six Characters in Search of an Author and also appeared in other plays such as Molière's The Doctor in Spite of Himself, Sergeant Canuto by Manuel Ascencio Segura, andThe Diary of Anna Frank to name a few. In Charlotte, Mónica played the character La Poncia in Theatre Charlotte's 2009 staged reading of Federico García Lorca's The House of Bernarda Alba. She has also performed at Con A de Arte - sponsored annually by ArtSí and in the Public Library of Charlotte Mecklenburg's 2010 "Story Telling Night - Noche de Cuentos,"
