Poet Joseph Harrison will read from his new collection, "Shakespeare's Horse." Harrison is the author of three books. His poems have appeared in The Antioch Review, The Paris Review, The Yale Review, and The Best American Poetry. Recipient of an award from the American Academy of Arts and Letters and a Guggenheim Fellowship, Harrison is Senior American Editor of Waywiser Press. He lives in Baltimore. Artist Studio Project in collaboration with Queens University of Charlotte’s Everett Library, the Center for Latino Studies and the Department of World Languages is looking for literary writers, poets and songwriters inspired by the themes and topics explored in the literary masterpiece of 100 Years of Solitude written by Gabriel Garcia Marquez to commemorate the 50 years of its publication.
