Event Details

The Friends of the Library at Queens presents the 40th annual Book and Author events. Three bestselling authors will speak at the dinner and luncheon events, read from their works and host a book signing. Guests will be introduced to hot-off-the-press works by the three writers. Sarah Addison Allen, author of "The Girl Who Chased the Moon," offers hew newest, "The Peach Keepers"; Angela Davis-Gardner, author of "Plum Wine," offers a new book, "Butterfly's Child"; Minrose Gwin, author of "The Queen of Palmyra," will have the memoir "Wishing for Snow" available in paperback. The Friends of the Library prove once again that our state is fertile ground for great fiction as all three authors call North Carolina home.
