Event Details

The Center for Latino Studies and the Office of Diversity, Inclusion and Community Engagement welcome Miguel Chirinos, author of the book "Simón Bolívar in the United States: Bicentennial Visit (1807-2007)." Chirinos will present research on Bolívar's life as a Venezuelan military and political leader, particularly an uncommonly-known period of his life that is often omitted in biographies.
