Alumna Participates in Queens-CMS Literacy Educator Partnership

Last September, Sarah Hoyle's '13 entire third-grade class was reading below a first-grade level. By March, her lowest reader had jumped to second-grade level. Hoyle- in her third year of teaching-credits the change to what she's learning her second time around at Queens. She's one of seven teachers at Nations Ford Elementary School in Charlotte enrolled in the Master of Education in Literacy program at the Cato School of Education. Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools (CMS) pays 100 percent of the tuition. Read More
