Festival of the Arts at Queens Event

Queens Theater presents Tom Stoppard's Tony Award-winning comedy, described by the New York Times as "Very funny, very brilliant, very chilling; it has the dust of thought about it, and the particles glitter excitingly in the theatrical air." Directed by Dr. Kara Wooten, Queens students will reconstruct Shakespeare's "Hamlet" from the point of view of two minor characters whose severely limited understanding of the complex circumstances in the state of Denmark catapult the story into the realm of both the real and the absurd. Queens Theater garnered awards from the Metrolina Theatre Association for last year's musical "I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change" and an adaptation of "Hamlet." Come enjoy this spring's production.
