Zeta Phi Beta

 Zeta Phi Beta was founded on the campus of Howard University on January 16, 1920. The Sigma Upsilon Chapter was founded on April 18th, 2015 with 11 chartering members. Zeta Phi Beta was founded on the simple belief that sorority elitism and socializing should not overshadow the real mission for progressive organizations - to address societal mores, ills, prejudices, poverty, and health concerns of the day.

Philanthropy: The sorority maintains affiliations with several organizations including the American Diabetes Association, March of Dimes, American Cancer Society, American Red Cross, National Council of Negro Women, and the United Negro College Fund.

Motto:  "A community-conscious, action-oriented organization"
