Public Safety & Campus Police

Stultz BuildingCampus Safety & Security

The safety of everyone is of utmost importance to us. The Queens Campus Police Department  is committed to creating an environment in which teaching, research, community life and public service flourish. We are dedicated to upholding and enforcing the law and managing risks to ensure the safety of students, faculty, staff and guests at Queens. We strive to maintain excellence and integrity, and respect the rights and dignity of all persons with whom we make contact.

Since the Queens Campus Police Department was created in the early 1980s, the university has maintained a consistent crew of officers.  All Queens' officers are state-certified police officers, who have undergone extensive training and have the same powers as other certified law enforcement officers in the state of North Carolina.

Our office is located in the heart of the residential quad on the main campus. We are extremely involved with student life, striving to foster an approachable and protective environment in which students, faculty and staff rely on our support for any number of safety and security issues.  The Campus Police Office is housed in the building located on the northwest side of the Evans Clock Tower.
