Vandiver Center for Career Development
ESPN. Bank of America. Opera Carolina. The Charlotte Hornets. Duke Energy. Being on a campus only three miles from uptown Charlotte allows Queens students to take advantage of invaluable internship and career opportunities, no matter their major.
According to the National Association of Colleges and Employers, graduating seniors who had internships had nearly twice the amount of job offers than students who didn't have an internships. At Queens, we find career readiness crucial, and we support our students so that they succeed not only in the classroom, but also in attaining their professional long-term goals.
The Vandiver Center for Career Development offers optimum preparation for students and alumni, such as one-on-one advising, an extensive online job board, networking and internship opportunities, career events and much more. All of our traditional undergraduate students are required to complete an internship before graduation so that they have unique, first-hand experience within their field of study.
